Visit Salisbury
Salisbury is one of the most fascinating mediaeval cathedral cities in all of England.
You will admire the splendour of its Cathedral with the country’s tallest spire and the world’s oldest working clock. Magna Carta is also displayed here and is considered the most important document in history. It inspired America’s Founding Fathers to write the Mayflower Compact, Constitution and Bill of Rights.
Afterwards, walk through the historic city centre and enjoy lunch in a seven centuries old inn.

Incredibly, it’s quicker to buy them on arrival at Stonehenge. The line for ‘On The Day’ tickets is usually far shorter than the ‘Pre Booked’ tickets queue (yes, you still have to join a line). Don’t worry – tickets never sell out at Stonehenge. It’s also easy to simply buy your Salisbury Cathedral and Magna Carta tickets on arrival.

There are restrooms at the Stonehenge Visitor Centre, which you can use before and after riding the shuttle bus to the monument. There are also opportunities during our lunch stop and at Salisbury Cathedral.

You will walk closely around the outside of Stonehenge with your private guide, who will answer all the big questions & provide the important stories. We do not offer inner circle, aka ‘Stone Circle Experience’ tours because these require either a dawn pick-up (4-5am) or late return (10pm) to Bath.
