During this walking tour of Bath you will pass by The Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, Pulteney Bridge, Pump Rooms, Royal Crescent, The Circus, Assembly Rooms, Queen Square and the Hot Springs. **Please note that you will receive an external overview of The Roman Baths and Bath Abbey – we will not go inside. The walking tour of Bath and timings can be adapted if you do wish to explore inside either the Roman Baths Museum or Abbey Church but please confirm this by email in advance.

Galahad Tours does not operate from London, so you can overnight in the beautiful City of Bath or easily & quickly catch a direct train from London Paddington to Bath Spa in 1 hour 18 mins. We’ll meet you at the station!

Incredibly, it’s quicker to buy them on arrival at Stonehenge. The line for ‘On The Day’ tickets is usually far shorter than the ‘Pre Booked’ tickets (yes, you still have to join a line). Stonehenge also never sells out.

There are restrooms at the Stonehenge Visitor Centre, which you can use before and after riding the shuttle bus to the monument. There are also opportunities during our lunch stop and at The Roman Baths.

You will walk closely around the outside of Stonehenge with your private guide, who will answer all of the burning questions and others besides. We do not offer inner circle, aka ‘Stone Circle Experience’ tours because these require either a dawn pick-up (4-5am) or late return (10pm) to Bath.

You could, of course, just see Stonehenge but it’s a great idea to make the most of the day by combining a visit here with nearby Avebury, Salisbury or even with a walking tour of Bath. Galahad Tours offers all of these.
