Itinerary

Visit Wells

Wells is a hidden gem that takes its name from the three freshwater springs found here and the beauty of England’s smallest city is only beginning to gain wider recognition. Its centrepiece is the awe-inspiring, Early Gothic Cathedral, considered by many to be the finest in the country. Wander through the historic Marketplace and along Europe’s oldest residential street. The award-winning Bishop’s Palace gardens are a true oasis with stunning views of the Cathedral and the surrounding countryside.

Visit Cheddar Gorge & Village

Cheddar Gorge is one of England’s most iconic and spectacular landscapes – it makes for a breathtaking sight. Expect stunning views as we drive through and stare up at the towering cliffs on either side, passing wild goats and sheep on the roadside. An optional 30 minute hike offers panoramic vistas from the top (suitable weather, fitness and footwear required). Cheddar village nestles at the bottom of the Gorge, where the famous cheese has been made by hand for almost a thousand years.
