There are many wonderful, historic pubs and inns throughout the Cotswolds. Galahad Tours has hand-picked some of the very best to include in our private Cotswolds Tours . We deliberately keep some a secret due to over tourism but the following offer outstanding food, atmosphere and hospitality: The Old Bell Hotel in Malmesbury; The White Hart in Ford; The Lamb Inn in Great Rissington; The Swan Inn in Swinbrook; The Five Alls in Filkins; Bull in Burford; The Feathered Nest Country inn in Nether Westcote

We firmly believe that Bath is the perfect base from which to explore the Cotswolds – plus other, lesser known but equally beautiful areas too. Lots of people make the mistake of visiting and exploring the 800 square mile Cotswolds area from London. Bath is a small and beautiful little city surrounded by the Cotswolds and you won’t waste time fighting your way through London traffic. If you want to be completely remote – with nothing to distract you apart from hiking – then consider staying a night or two at one of the many charming inns, bed and breakfasts or fancy spa hotels that the Cotswolds has to offer.
