The villages and towns selected by Matt (Castle Comb, Lacock, Corsham & Bradford-on-Avon gave us a great perspective on the Cotswolds through time. We learned so much and avoided hordes of people! Matt’s knowledge and understanding of the architecture, building materials, culture and history of these areas added to the value of this trip. We have just spent the past 2 days covering so much ground and history with the wonderful Matt. Firstly the depth to his knowledge of the areas we visited was just incredible. So much insight into the history, topography, and culture delivered in a captivating and eloquent manner with a lovely balance of humor thrown in to boot. Secondly Matt is just an all round super kind and thoughtful individual. We were traveling with my elderly parents and his patience and foresight was constantly present. From being mindful of areas that were better for walking, to even thinking about practicalities such as bathroom stops, having a comfortable and roomy, new vehicle, umbrellas for all, and arranging lunch at great spots. I cannot recommend Matt highly enough. We are leaving the area with such great memories, and wish Matt the continued success of his business venture.

This was one of the best parts of our entire two week trip in the UK! Having Matt pick us up right outside our accommodations and taking us through the Cotswolds was an amazing and unique experience. He is extremely knowledgeable and gave us such great background and historical references and information throughout. He was also able to easily answer any questions we had. The lunch location was also a favorite meal during the trip. The cost for what we got was WELL worthwhile and I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone interested in checking out the Cotswolds.
